Biography —
Scott Ishman retired in September 2026 as a Senior Scientist and Associate Director of the Geohydrology & Geohealth Division at the Kansas Geological Survey; he will continue to collaborate with staff as an Adjunct Researcher. A micropaleontologist by training, he specializes in research on climate change and its environmental impacts, and also leads strategic partnership initiatives for the AWQUA (Aquifer Water Quality Assessment) program.
